USDA tests foodstuffs for pesticide residues each year. The last test on
655 samples of corn all came up zero on neonicotinoids. I'm not sure on
other crops, but you can look up the reports on the Web and let us know!
Even if residues had been present, the reason for using neonics is that
they are specific for insect neuroreceptors, and have virtually no effect
on humans.
