Concealed cameras do not deter theft, unless this 
fact is posted.  And if posted, you risk the 
camera being discovered and stolen. 

If the apiary is within a !/2 mile from a residence,
a simple motion activated siren alarm is very
effective at convincing a thief to flee. 

IMO, a camera, is used, would be best positioned 
on the road leading to the apiary for vehicle and 
plate id, and apiary alarmed with sirens.
-would be a good bear deterrent also.
