hi I live in Sardinia. in our more than 3000 beehives to control varroa we can even block by inserting the brood queen in a small cage (4 to 6 minutes per hive. start operations from mid-June onwards) and do we do two steps of oxalic acid. one in the moment it is released (after about 24 days from when and been locked) and one 4 days later, when we check any queens death. (normally from 10 to 20% in relation to drought) during the winter according to the strength of the families do from 2 to 4 sublimated oxalic acids (with the sublimox) or a oxalic acid dripped over the frames. the formulation of oxalic acid and 100 g of acid, 1000 grams of sugar and 1 liter of water, this solution 5cc for frame covered with bees.
