This does not add up for me. Did you somehow stop the robbing or did it

Thieves do not normally remain in a robbed out hive. These bees may the
emerged brood or old bees from the colony itself.
In either case, thieves or a remnant, these bees will be too old by now
to accept a queen or do much in the unlikely event that she survives for
long.
You posted a week ago and by now you have probably done something. How
did it work out?
