I've just posted my recipe for flapjack, using comb after pressing instead of the usual sugar and fat. If interested look at www.chrissladesbeeblog.wordpress.com

I'm wondering what happens to the beeswax in the human digestive tract. It must potentially have a lot of calories or it wouldn't keep candles alight but I don't know whether the human gut treats it as if fat or whether it is simply passed along to the exit. Does anybody know?

Chris
