The only thing better than Newport in October is a conference about cultural and historic preservation in Newport in October! Please join us and the Newport Restoration Foundation for our annual conference October 13-15. Presentations by preservation experts will cover topics ranging from garden archaeology in Charleston, SC, to the role of archaeology in Section 106 (with a keynote by Tom King), to considerations of the future of preservation in the U.S.. There will also be a number of expert-led tours of Newport's world-famous Colonial, Gilded Age, and Waterfront neighborhoods.
