I've hear the same thing from those I know, I've also heard a lot of people
are using a single strip... did you do the full dose?

I'm going to try the formic fumigator thing from WVU this year.  I have few
enough hives that the extra equipment isn't an issue.  From what I've read
less queen loss that way, hopefully experience confirms that.
