attend it.
About the session:
THE INTELLECTUAL AND SPIRITUAL EXPRESSIONS OF NON-LITERATE PEOPLES:
lectures and debates on specific issues will accompany this session, a
world meeting of CISENP members and friends.
The visual arts, music, dance, rituals, myths, and other traditions
are aspects of human vitality, socialisation and identity. Share your
story, contribute with your experience and knowledge. As in previous
occasions, the CISENP is conveying its session at the forthcoming
UISPP Congress 2020. Describing, recording, acquiring facts, are the
necessary sources of knowledge. Knowledge is the preamble of
understanding. Understanding is the source of behavior and actions.
Understanding the conceptual background of behavior and actions is a
source of awareness and a goal of research.
Descriptive archeology and anthropology are producing the data base
for effects resulting from causes. Reconstructing the processes from
effect to cause, helps understanding the changing course of culture
and of history. Your personal participation is an important piece of
this mosaic.
By studying the past, we are building the future. The knowledge of the
roots is the elementary base of culture. Even in the tribal world
young people are being initiated to the knowledge of their past!
We look forward to hearing from you,
Cordial regards and best wishes,
Prof. Emmanuel Anati
(President, CISENP International Commission)
