Those questions remain unanswered. If any studies exist I would love to see them.
Before starting here I politely contacted NOD with my observations and concerns. I have received no reply.
To wrap it up my view is that. Hot weather, big colonies at the end of a long and intense honey flow, end of summer, you'll rely on MAQS at your peril. I won't do it again any time soon.
