 > If treating does not work long term then why be so critical of those
of us who choose to not treat?

I don't know who is being accused of being critical in the hostile sense
if that is what you mean, but we are experienced, and we are curious and
we want to know and verify the facts. Of course facts are few and far
between and many supposed 'facts' are actual opinion, guesses, shared
illusions or make-believe..

We test our ideas and test them hard. The _three times_ I went
treatment-free or nearly so, I lost _all_ the hives involved around the
third year, so it is not that we are not don't look favourably on the
idea. It is just that we are experienced and therefore look closely at
reports from those who claim success , especially those with low
expectations and/or a short history or a rich imagination.

We know that some seem to be going without treatments, and even on a
large scale, but we know the odds are against success in any large
number for more than a few years have been shown in the past to be
poor. If a profitable operation is intended, to odds are even less
favourable.

On BEE-L, we're happy to hear reports, but we look critically at
everything.

No free rides here.
