The *Transformations* four-field graduate student conference hosted by the
Wayne State University Anthropology Graduate Students' Organization (AGSO)
is this Saturday March 7th. This event is free and open to the public so if
you are in the SE Michigan area, please consider stopping by. The
conference is the result of nearly a year of planning and work by AGSO and
is the first of what we hope will be many years of successful student-run
peer-reviewed conferences.
The conference sessions and keynote address will be in the *Student Center
Room 285 *this *Saturday, March 7, 9:30am - 6:00pm*. There will be
seventeen student presenters as well as the keynote speaker, Dr. Timothy
Scarlett (Michigan Tech), who will be speaking on Industrial Archaeology
and Archaeological Approaches to Industrial/Post-Industrial Worlds.
