I prepared a rudimentary overview of a drive-in theater located in Hancock, Washington County, Maryland, for the Maryland State Highway Administration as a peripheral part of a Phase II examination of the Samuel Bowles mill site. I think you should be able to get a copy of the report from them.

All,
Several months ago I conducted a survey of a ruined drive-in movie theater in Mississippi. It was a very interesting project and I plan to prepare an article or conference presentation about it. I just did a quick search online for drive-in theater archaeology and did not come up with much. Are any of you aware of other archaeological work at old drive-in theaters?
Thanks.
