Bob sorry for your loss.

Looking the case case from Europe, why wait for USDA.

You most likely know what was used for corn seeds in that case, so the analyze
is not that expensive when you don?t have to guess what chemical you are
looking for. If needed money can be raised by beekeepers. Anyone know how much
such lab analyze cost in theUSA?

Get someone that can be trusted from outside bee circles, like local cop,
take samples of dead bees, fresh pollen, etc. and have the ?outside trusted
person? to send them for a lab.

In the cases like this in Europe the amounts of active incredients are easily
seen in quantaties the are known to be harmful for bees. Like the case in
Germany few years back.

USDA can come later and take their own samples if they show op. If they never
come it should be much more powerful to report for them what happened + the lab
results
