We have said this before, but Wikipedia is not a reliable source of accurate information. Some of the articles are written by experts and some by nit wits. There is no certain oversight. For bee-related stuff, I would check the archives here at Bee-L. It can be tedious but often we have already discussed the topic at hand. Beyond that, I rely heavily on http://scholar.google.com and http://books.google.com/ Just casting about for information will yield far too much refuse with a few nuggets mixed in. Good luck prospecting!
