>In New York State, they made raw apple cider illegal. It has to be

The same happened in Missouri about a decade ago. Now there is no homemade
apple cider or raw milk at farmers markets.
Raw milk is still sold off farms but no signs out front of the farms. On a
farm east of me is a beekeeper which sells both raw honey and raw milk. He
was tossed from one of the farmers markets when caught selling raw milk. he
stopped by one day and said the efforts to change back from the pasteurized
rule once in effect has never happened to his knowledge.
Certified pasteurized organic milk is sold at our market under strict rules.
I grew up drinking raw milk and saw no problems happen with the others doing
the same.
We sure do not want the rule all honey *sold* has to be pasteurized. I
think you can still drink all the raw milk you want from your own cow.
