If you talk to the thin comb foundation sellers those seem to think we are 
not as they produce the thin comb foundation strictly from cappings  wax. 
The foundation is simply a thin guide to keep the bees from simply doing as 
they would in an empty box. The percent of the honey comb by the foundation 
is low plus most is simply quickly chewed and spit out not digested.

I know the above as I asked. Please don't kill the messenger.
