I didn't know the recluse spider (Araña de Rincón - Loxosceles laeta)
was a Chilean specie, but for sure they are everywhere around here. We
learn to not kill the "tiger" spider (Araña Tigre - Scytodes globula)
that is the one that feeds on recluse.

My wife was bitten by a small one on the forehead while sleeping with
my two younger childs a couple of years ago. She say it didn't hurts,
but the scar advanced like a mm per day. Black Necrosis up to  two
centimetres wide and 3 centimetres long. Because was on the forehead
where there is not much muscle and the bone is very near, we manage to
stop it with bee sting on a technic called "surronding the dragon".

Based on the doctors we were lucky because if that recluse had bitten
one of the childs he/she for sure would be dead.
