ISEN-ASTC-L is a service of the Association of Science-Technology Centers
Incorporated, a worldwide network of science museums and related institutions.

Back in February, there was a discussion about the possible role for ASTC in helping museums obtain access to journals (e.g., at a discounted group price). I was surprised to learn that many museums do not have access to paid journals. I interviewed several list members *off list* about how research makes it's way to from researchers to the public.
Here's a blog post, including quotes from a few list members:
Science museums are disconnected from new science research

If you have any reactions, pleas share.
Also, if you have comments, it would be great if you could also leave them on the blog post comments.
Kind regards,
Michael
