Folks,

Over the last month the MUA has launched a series of research tools
including searchable bibliographies, photo collections, and the
proceedings from the Asia Pacific Underwater Cultural Heritage Conference.
 To date these tools have attracted thousands of online visitors and so
have successfully facilitated the sharing of information with scholars and
interested avocationals.

We were able to host the conference proceedings at no cost thanks to
grants of software and bandwidth.

We feel that as researchers we are obligated to share our research results
with as wide an audience as possible and that when it is practical, that
scholarship should be shared freely.  We are pleased to offer that
opportunity to other maritime history or underwater archaeology
