Does anyone know of reports or other publications on the historic use of
tiling drainage systems on farms? I have found a couple of good websites
for Midwest and eastern farms, but nothing for the western areas,
specifically for California. Were the methods of installation
essentially the same throughout the country, or is there regional
variability? How much disturbance of the ground was actually involved in
installing such a system?

Thank you,

Sandra.
