I’m happy to live In the EU where honey without pollen is considered an inferior product and must be labelled as such, I’m even happier that heat filtered honey is considered fit only for baking and is not sold to the public.
The situation might not be perfect here but it is better than ‘anything goes’. The object is consumer protection and the consumer can’t make an objective decision if only the packer knows what is in the jar.
The claim that it is ‘what the customers want’ is a specious argument in any context.
