If New York state is anything close to what we've got in Ontario, then it's been a very good year for bees and it just hasn't stopped. Unusually warm weather the past few weeks, with a good mix of rain and sun, have brought the goldenrod out in force, and the asters are only just starting. Because of heavy winter losses (30 of 40), we split a lot this year. Despite that, in the past couple of weeks we've lost two swarms that I know of (both had honey supers on). I'm just on my way out to check on some others. Hope I'm not too late.
Hey bob, nice numbers. I suppose that'll slow tomorrow when it gets cooler.
