I'm new to the industry and trying to get a better understanding of what it
would mean to be a full time beekeeper. This year I have 20 hives and I'd
like to double that next year, while still working full time elsewhere. I
am one person and my income is focused more on selling honey retail than on
wholesale honey sales or pollination fees. I am located in Wisconsin and I
intend to keep my bees in one region, not travel across the country looking
for crops to pollinate.

Please share your thoughts via the list or directly with me at

Thanks,
Ellen Geisler
