Allen a year ago we fed our bees thymolated syrup in the fall as well as
treating with apiguard. We had a 100% winter survival. Our hive count is
small (9) plus 2 nucs.
This year we have repeated the same methods with 10 hives and 3 nucs. We
have already lost 1 hive, but I think it is due to a poor queen.
