I suggest you contact Gayle Hartmann <[log in to unmask]>, Brad Vierra
<[log in to unmask]>, and Richard and Shirley Flint (for whom I don't have
contact info but probably Gayle can provide it) about possible finds of
chain mail in sites associated with the 1540s Coronado expedition into New
Mexico, Texas and the Plains.

Subject: bits of chain mail
My wife found some pieces of chain mail on her excavation; not whole suits,
but scraps of various sizes. We were wondering if anyone knows of similar
finds anywhere else?
