Hello all,

The SHA’s Academic and Professional Training Committee has created an
online clearinghouse for syllabi dealing with topics relevant to the
teaching historical archaeology (
http://www.sha.org/research_resources/syllabus.cfm). You will find below
links to dozens of syllabi on general courses in historical archaeology as
well as courses on specific topics that make up the discipline’s many
interests. From comments Chris Matthews and I have received, this has
become a really useful tool for creating and reworking syllabi. If you'd
like to contribute a new syllabus or update an existing one, please send
your syllabi preferably as pdf files to: Jodi Barnes ([log in to unmask]) or
Chris Matthews ([log in to unmask]). Please include your name,
affiliation and email address on the syllabus. If at any point, you would
like to remove or update your posted syllabi on the website, you may email
one of either one of us and we will take care of it.

Thanks,

Jodi
