Chris I have a paper I could contribute to the session, but it deals
with the grey area between English and African belief systems in the
early Chesapeake. I have data from a late seventeenth-early 18th
century English town site that on the one hand suggest an African
presence and a sub-floor pit with a possible shrine. On the other hand
I have pierced coins and a Caravaca cross that may represent English
religion and folklore. I will send an abstract and title if you are
interested.

Chris -- I sure hope you or someone else will offer this symposium
next year. I have a topic that should fit in nicely.

It would be a great venue.
