The site in Annapolis is called the Jonas Green site and was excavated in the 1980s by Archaeology in Annapolis. Here is a link to some more information...

The Archaeology of Annapolis conducted by the University of Maryland
excavated an eighteenth century print shop. Colonial Williamsburg may
have some information about their print shop as well.

Subject: archaeology of print shops and media
Dear colleagues,
Can you help me with sources for an undergraduate student who is
interested
in researching the archaeology of print media: books, texts, newspapers,
and
libraries? He is inspired by Mark Leone and Barbara Little's account and
analysis of the Green Print Shop in Annapolis.
Are there other historical archaeology projects that have excavated
print
shops, newspaper or publishing houses, or libraries?
Thanks in advance for any suggestions -
