Correct me if I'm wrong, but black locust blooms before it comes into leaf,
which is why the blooms are so spectacular looking. If the locust is in
bloom, you might have something, but if it's leafed out it's done and
gone. I keep an eye on the neighbors trees and along the creek, no bloom
here yet, but they will probably pop very soon.
