Hello,
I believe that this article has gone out in a few different farming magazines and on-line webpages.
http://www.farms.com/news/taking-steps-towards-reducing-the-risk-to-pollinators-59134.aspx
The article was written by two colleagues from the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs with some additional input from other specialists.
This article is quite well balanced. It refers to some potential preventative measures that growers can take to minimize pesticide poisoning through dust from treated corn seeds.
The article does not downplay the issue, makes no promises that these practices will be successful and advocates for Integrated Pest Management in cropping systems.
The initial response that some Ontario Beekeepers have had to this article has been largely positive.
