I readily concur. The situation in the USA is, however, that African bees were imported several times over the last hundred and fifty years, and they are already widespread in the US. The genetic material is already present in commercial stock which is trucked to every state. Genie is out of bottle, hostile behavior is the key point now. This loosely parallels the issue of pit bull dogs. Some want to ban the breed; others point that any dog can become vicious, and needs to be put down if it does. I had a spayed yellow labrador which was very sweet, but she stalked toddlers.
