Hello,
I stated concerns here, -earlier this season about
the early bloom. Not much concern expressed
among beekeepers on this list at the time,
except for one beekeeper in NC who stated
frost did some damage.
My concerns were that colonies would not be
strong enough, and risk of frost or freeze
would be great.
So how did the spring pan out for you?
Anyone experiencing anything similar to
what the commercial beekeeper experienced
on this PBS video:?

"A study from Cornell University in 2011 said
that while bees have been keeping up with
earlier springs so far, they may not be able
to do so forever."
