You must have missed the line "5 years later"
If you check archives, oct06 you can see the first evidence
that I saw of ccd.  Not recognized at that point.

I suspect that most of these absconds happened
in October

They made about 1/2 the normal amount of honey
that I would have expected, but also I don't think
last year was an especially good year for surplus.
(the hives that did not abscond did not fill 3 supers)

After I have questioned myself more that anyone here,
to continue (questioning) is neurotic.

You should count yourself lucky that you are only 
reading about this
