I remember the discussion, but I don't recall exactly what order/when you did what. It could be some kind of interaction issue with the antibiotics? with something else environmental? My impression is that Tylosin and TM stick around the hive for a while (perhaps the oxalic as well)...it could be something residual interacting with the thymol?
Certainly I would think that those using thymol would be more "natural" in mindset (not in every case, but overall), and perhaps not many (in that group using thymol) are using the antibiotics, and not seeing what you saw?
Obviously no answers, just some thoughts..
