Thanks Karen,  I tried the same.  The outsides of the blocks dried hard
overnight, but perhaps I wasn't patient enough for the insides to set, and
the blocks broke when I pried them off of a sugared board.  Perhaps would
be better if I set them on waxed paper.

What size blocks did you make, and how long did you let them set/dry before
handling?
