But this is what I do with few odd frames found thinking hive cannot handle for cleaning up, to actually clean the frames up. Just put one into center of broodnest in strong hive and let the bees clean it up. Works great! But then I keep 4.9mm top tolerance small cell honeybees too.

And been doing this a long time! Even Nosema not a problem!
