Me too!! I was thinking it might be useful to have ASTC get a subscriber benefit developed. The number of folks doing research across our field is so small and the need so sporadic, and the uses so generally beneficial from a dissemination perspective that publishers ought say what a great venue for advertising to public about the benefits of scientific research. The dollar amounts of infringement on their profit stream would be trivial and far outweighed by the potential benefits of limited free use and indirect advertising that might be engendered by having museum folks freely source and credit this material.
