Kathrina: St.Malo was a maroon (runaway slave) village on Lake Pontchartrain I think. As far as I know nobody has worked there, try Shannon Dowdy she may know. Good luck. Pete Gregory

Thank you for replying, Pete and Susan.

Pete: I familiar with Manila Village but not of Bassa-Bassa. Is that the same as Saint Malo? Most of what I know about those fishing villages are from Marina Espina's book, "Filipinos in Louisiana". Also, I will take your advice and check with those sources. Thank you for the suggestions.

Susan: Thank you for letting me know. I will make sure to check with the AACC. Are these interviews from a specific community?
