Eric,
Thanks for sharing! "It's my first time back," since moving out. I know why I haven't been back. So many memories, over so many years and thousands upon thousands of events and acquaintances, friendships, loves, sorrows, "imprisonments," and liberations and joys. Strangely reminiscent of my first exposure to the Exploratorium in all it's initial" kluginess" and bricolage, yet so distant. Seeing it brought tears to my eyes, re-experiencing struggles and hard fought minuscule to major decisions in every view, the joys of adventure and success, now re-interpreted. Frank's ghost haunts the place. The vacant shop, cafe, and old locations of the office and bio-lab tugged at me hardest.

It a place in which so many of us grew up.
