Following Anita's lead, my name is Bill Lockhart.

I am a Professor of Sociology at the Alamogordo campus of New Mexico State University. BA -- double major, Anthropology and Sociology; MA -- Sociology, both UTEP.

Although I teach Sociology, my research is almost all in glass artifacts, especially containers. As a founding member of the Bottle Research Group, I spend virtually all of my free time in bottle research. We publish in professional journals, local historical journals, bottle collector magazines, and other venues.

My wife, Wanda Wakkinen, and I are retiring in three years and hitting the road in a motor home. At that point, I will be available for consulting in any bottle-related venue -- in-person consulting.

The Bottle Research Group provides free e-mail consultation on bottles now. Just drop me, Carol Serr, or Bill Lindsey and e-mail on HISTARCH, and we can go from there.

Bill
