A few years back I heard a lecture at one of the EAA conferences (Malta?
Riva? Krakow? Zadar?) on the way the Mithras Temple excavated in London in
the 1950s was discovered and then moved because of construction, and
recently a new interpretive centre has been built around it. I haven't been
able to find reference to the lecture itself (maybe a late registration that
didn't make it into the abstracts). Anyone have any ideas?
