Often I have seen our various grevillias have a good shake out of the
florets, and no bees, and no juice in the hives, in other words a nectar
dearth. The bees may or may have not been working the grevilias for
pollen. Similarly we occasionally get a honey flow off our black bean,
but it almost always has a good amount of nectar in the large flowers,
but is not worked. Both nectar's taste sweet to me.
