Hi all,

My 3 hives are a bit too near my garden, and for some reason I'm getting
stung by bees more frequently this year when I'm working in the garden,
though I have moved the hives so the garden is not in a direct line. I've
not had this problem before (been keeping them since 2004), and the hives do
seem a bit more protective this year for some reason - maybe they didn't
appreciate the move, though they are getting more sun in the new location.
The bug repellent I use doesn't seem to make much of a difference to the
bees. I'm thinking of putting some Bee Quick on myself, figuring that if it
clears supers (though I've never used it), it will keep them away from me.
Or does it just piss them off? Anyone ever tried this, or have any other
advice that does not involve moving them?

Thanks,
Diotima
