Not sure if anyone has suggested this, but you might check out World
Vision. Website is worldvision.org. I think they may have some US
programs as well as the overseas ones, but I'm not sure. Their Hunger
Center in NYC is very interesting, and (like the website) includes links
to ways to help in one's own community.

Is anyone familiar with any 2D shows or films about hunger/poverty that
have been up in the last 10 years? I am particularly interested in those
that focus on the United States, but would be interested to hear about
