Dear Histarchers, I have a mystery object question. We found a clay artifact that looks as though it might be a large pipe, or possibly some kind of spout. It came out of a context which is full of material dating to the 1870s, along with several other more conventional clay pipes. I would appreciate any ideas on this one.
