We recently excavated an 1890s deposit in downtown Ventura and found a set of
five oriental dishes with an unknown mark. We couldn't find anything in our
library. I have included a link my photobucket page with the upper surface,
sketch of mark, and a picture of the actual mark.  It appears that the foot-ring
is a "snake" motif.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.
