Just received this - I was fortunate enough to look him up on May 20,
while we were visiting in OK, and he was alert, witty, and as sharp as
ever, with ready access to a cabinet full of his (and other's) bee
publications. He was one of the most intelligent, inventive, openminded,
and hardworking researchers I ever met in my 33 years at the Tucson
BeeLab. On the 20th, at 77 years, he said he believed he had "another
ten years in me".

My dad died Tuesday 7/17 at the nursing home in Stillwater, OK. We had
the funeral in Stillwater the following Saturday. If you know anyone
else from the bee lab who would be interested, I would appreciate your
passing the news on.
Thanks,
Terry Moffett"
