The Cornish Cross fryers will produce a 6 pound ready for the freezer
carcass in 8 weeks. The chicken is disgusting. It can hardly walk by the
time it is ready to butcher. It just eats, sit, and defecates. They rarely
will survive to adulthood, and some say they cannot even reproduce due to
weight. The meat produced is a very good conversion and the quality is
superb. This hybrid is totally dependant on us to survive.
