ISEN-ASTC-L is a service of the Association of Science-Technology Centers
Incorporated, a worldwide network of science museums and related institutions.

There is a chain of theme parks in the U.K. under the name DiggerLand where visitors use real construction equipment. They have adapted some types of equipment as rides, and in other cases visitors sit at the controls of backhoes and actually get to dig. This is not a Disney-esque cleaned up version, but the real deal — all of the equipment is real. The owners originally owned a construction company and got the idea for the theme park from their annual family day — people were so excited about just getting to sit on the machines that it occurred to them to create an attraction around the concept.
