Anyone have played with one of these expensive thermal cameras?

See: _http://www.opticsinfobase.org/oe/abstract.cfm?uri=oe-19-1-399_
(http://www.opticsinfobase.org/oe/abstract.cfm?uri=oe-19-1-399)

We will have an update this year - we've been comparing a high end camera
with a high end calibration system against a 'relatively' inexpensive hand
held.

Either has to be used when ambient temperatures are used - best at night.
During day, solar radiation hitting outside of hive obscures temperature
of bee population inside.

One can get misreads from combs full of honey.
